Chocolate Rice Snack

Every day we try to find ways to keep our preschoolers from getting bored, even in preparing food and merienda. So I went surfing for some recipes that might help you with this dilemma , hope you try it. Found this recipe at nestle.com.ph

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups water
1 cup MILO
1/2 cup condensed milk
1 cup uncooked rice

Procedure:
1. Combine 1/2 cup water, 1 cup MILO and condensed milk. Set aside.
2. Mix together the rest of the water and uncooked rice.
3. Bring to a boil in rice cooker then mix in MILO mixture, stirring often.
4. Leave in rice cooker until rice is cooked.
5. Let cool.
This dish is made of rice, an excellent source of complex carbohydrates and the body’s best source of energy.
